Loreley teaches workshops on many different aspects of belly dance. In July she'll be teaching a series of five workshops with the theme of Arabic Rhythms & Zills at the Beacon in Wantage. See below for details.

A series of five workshops exploring the music and rhythms of North Africa and the Middle East.

3 July: Oriental rhythms - an introduction to the vibrant rhythms of Arabic music

10 July: Middle Eastern rhythms & dance - more Middle Eastern rhythms & an introduction to dance styles beyond Egypt, including Khaleegi

17 July: Zills 1 - how to play finger cymbals and dance!

24 July: Zills 2 - more rhythms, more practice!

31 July: Moroccan rhythms & dance - a taste of the diverse music & dance styles of Morocco

These workshops are suitable for anyone with previous belly dance experience. They are 'stand alone' sessions so attendance of all five is not essential though strongly recommended to gain the most from them!
