This site is still not quite complete but it's getting there in between all the dancing!

Loreley Rice is a professional dancer based in the Vale of White Horse in Oxfordshire. With more than 25 years experience of Egyptian dance, she is both an entrancing performer and an inspiring teacher.

Loreley teaches and performs a wide range of Arabic dance styles. While thoroughly immersed in the diversity of dancing to be found in Egypt, she also uses her background in ballet, jazz, and freestyle to create Pharaonic fantasy, modern fusion and Arabic hip hop style dances. More recently she has embraced Tribal bellydance as well as Zumba!

Although popularly known as belly dancing, Egyptian dance is a beautiful, graceful dance form, involving movements of the entire body. It is also an excellent form of exercise and great fun to learn. It doesn't matter what age, shape, or weight you are - you can move your body to the vibrant rhythms of Arabic music and feel and look fantastic!

Loreley loves to share her passion for Egyptian music and dance and teaches weekly classes in Abingdon, Didcot, and Wantage. She also teaches Tribal bellydance and Zumba in Oxford (Botley). Her classes are fun, friendly, and provide a supportive and encouraging learning environment. Check out details of all her classes on the 'classes' page.

Loreley Rice is an IDTA-qualified belly dance teacher and her students have the option of taking exams in 'belly dancing' in cooperation with Abingdon Dance Studios. She is also a licensed Zumba instructor.
