Class Information
\n");Term dates
Classes start again the week beginning Monday 7 January 2019.
If you've never been to a belly dance class before, the new term starting this January is an excellent time to join one! There are beginner level
classes in Oxford (Botley), Wantage and Abingdon. We'll begin with the absolute basics. Don't worry if you think you've got two left feet and a total lack of
coordination, or you just feel very self-conscious - relax! The classes are fun and friendly and you'll learn how to belly dance move by move.
No previous dance experience necessary.

What to wear
Wear comfortable clothing that you can move around in, such as leggings or joggers and a T-shirt, and bring a long scarf or shawl to tie round your hips. Wear flat, flexible-soled shoes or dance barefoot. Soft ballet or jazz shoes are ideal. Trainers are too clumpy. Eventually you may find you want to dress up more in a colourful skirt, top and hip scarf dripping with beads and coins!
